When I think about making print art- specifically monoprints, I think about what I am trying to convey. What is important? What color will I choose to convey the idea? What glimpse will I get into myself? What do I mean by all of these questions? They don’t have to be answered- I think sometimes the questions are more important than the result or answering it. It can linger out there. In this series, I think about sea life, and how it is surviving while we over fish, consuming more than we need, what do we leave behind?
