Acrylic Paintings with Chalk, Charcoal and Oil Pastel

Painting: An idea forms, and you start to paint. You can decide a color scheme, or wing it. You start, stop, revisit it again and again until it is done, or where you wanted it, or feel it can’t go any farther. None of these paintings were done quickly…they took weeks, if not months of layering, re-do’s, and constant chats with myself through the editing process. Sometimes, you just have to stop. Let it go….this is me letting go.
